International Shipping & Customs Taxes
Please be aware that any orders outside the UK may be required to pay delivery duties and customs taxes on top of the shipping costs you pay through this website. Expect your package to be held in your countries local customs authorities until any remaining fees are paid, only after this point is your package released to you for delivery.
The fees you can expect to pay will vary on your country and will likely be in the form of import taxes, custom duties and carrier handling fees. Often it can range from an additional 14-20% of your packages total value, however it is recommended you look up what taxes are required to be paid in your country.
The purchaser must take full liability for any packages sent back to the return address due to unpaid customs fees. Any additional return shipment costs will be the full responsibility of the customer.
Orders will be processed within 2-5 days and shipped using a ‘tracked’ service. Please keep an eye on any shipping notifications you receive.
How to replace the blade on your trimming tool
If you have found yourself in need of changing the blade on your trimming tool, here is a more in depth ‘how to’ guide.
The built in mechanism allows you to swap out blades by twisting the brass rod. To loosen, twist anti-clockwise and to tighten, twist clockwise. You may find you have to grip the blade too in order to release the thread, however, be careful not to twist the blade too firmly as you don’t want it to break. I would also recommend holding a piece of cloth between your fingers and the blade as they are sharp and can cut your skin if not careful. Once loosened, hold onto the blade and keep twisting the handle until the two parts separate (this is to prevent you accidently dropping the blade). You can now insert your new blade the same way by holding the blade and twisting the handle onto the thread until securely fastened. You want the blade to be fastened tight, but do not overtighten or twist the blade beyond as far as it will go.
Always treat the blade with caution, don’t twist too firmly and don’t push the blade further than it will go as this can cause breakage.
