Shipping & Customs Taxes
For physical products
For UK orders - If you have purchased a physical product, it will take 2-5 business days to be packaged and shipped, then a further 2-5 business days to be delivered through Royal Mail.
For international orders - If you have purchased a physical product, it will take 2-5 business days to be processed and then shipped using a ‘tracked’ service of which you will receive a tracking number via email or phone number. It is your responsibility to keep an eye on any shipment updates as this can include important information regarding the need for additional customs and taxes to be paid in order to release your package to you.
Please be aware that any orders outside the UK may be required to pay delivery duties and customs taxes on top of the shipping costs you pay through this website. Your package may be held in your countries local customs authorities until any remaining fees are paid, only after this point is your package released to you for delivery.
The fees you can expect to pay will vary on your country and will likely be in the form of import taxes, custom duties and carrier handling fees. Often it can range from an additional 11-25% of your packages total value, however it is recommended you look up what taxes are required to be paid in your country.
In the event any packages are sent back to the return address due to unpaid customs fees, the purchaser must take full liability of any additional return shipment costs. This will be deducted from any refund given.
I am not able to personally monitor the delivery of each parcel so it is up to you to notify me of any concerns regarding delays before it is too late.
Returns & Refunds
Returns are only accepted if the item is damaged, faulty or if the wrong item was shipped to you. In the case of a damaged or faulty item, please get in touch as soon as you can, you have 5 days after your item has been delivered to notify me of any issues. Returns or exchanges cannot be offered if an item has been used as after this point its safety is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Each item is carefully inspected before it is shipped to ensure it is up to standard.
In the event a product breaks due to the mishandling of it, specifically those with care and user instructions, you will not be able to return or exchange your item. Once you have received your item, it is the users own responsibility.
Cancellations
Cancellations for physical products
In the event you would like to cancel your order, you must notify me as soon as possible. If your order has already been processed and handed to the courier, it is out of my hands and so the order can no longer be cancelled or refunded. If you let me know you would like to cancel your order before it has been shipped for delivery, this can be arranged and you will receive a refund.

Materials
In order to sustain materials and firings being included in the cost of the term, an average of 6-8 pots per person is estimated to be kept and fired (6 pots for 2 hour classes and 8 pots for 2.5 hour classes). Beyond this number it is asked that students pay towards the materials at a cost of 80p per 100g of fired pottery.
Missed Classes
If for whatever reason you are unable to attend a given week, it may be possible to join another class to make up for the missed session. However, this cannot be guaranteed unless there is a spare wheel available. This will be worked out on a case-by-case basis. Please give as much notice as you can if you are unable to attend a class.
